TTS has developed a complete system for handling of large ammount of fiber ropes onboard AHTS vessels. The system consists of the following main TTS itemes:
- AHT winch (with or without active heave compensation)
- Secondary winches
- Fiber storage drums
The system enables AHTS vessels to carry up to 35.000 meters of fiber rope whinch enables the vessel complete preset of a complete oil rig.
The system can also consist of a Triplex MDH (Multi Deck Handler) for safe anchor handling which will enable the vessels to solve all challanges when it comes to:
- Pre tensioning of fiber rope
- Handling and storage of anchors on deck
- Deployment and recovery of large torpedo anchors
The Triplex MDH and fiber rope tensioner are products supplied by Triplex AS.
