TTS – Contract for TTS Handling Systems AS 09.12.2004

Through its subsidiary TTS Handling Systems AS (TTS) in Drøbak, TTS Marine ASA has landed a contract worth approximately NOK 12m for the delivery of a newly developed Ship Transfer System to St.Maarten Shipyard in the Dutch Antilles in the Caribbean.

Through its subsidiary TTS Handling Systems AS (TTS) in Drøbak, TTS Marine ASA has landed a contract worth approximately NOK 12m for the delivery of a newly developed Ship Transfer System to St.Maarten Shipyard in the Dutch Antilles in the Caribbean, with delivery at the end of 2005. St.Maarten Shipyard is a shipyard building and repairing Mega Yachts. Through a major upgrading program including the new TTS Ship Transfer System, it will become a highly flexible and efficient shipyard for the Mega yacht market in the Caribbean. The TTS contract includes a modular Ship Transfer System with the ability to move ships up to 800 tons efficiently between different sites on shore. TTS has constructed and delivered heavy-load equipment to shipyards for over 25 years. The prototypes for the newly constructed Ship Transfer System will be built and tested with support from industrial research and development contracts (IFU) from Innovation Norway, and TTS will have a new product for a new market segment within the heavy-load sector.
