TTS Ships Equipment GmbH has announced that Holger Elies is to take on the role of managing director later this year. Elies joins TTS from the SEC (Ships Equipment Centre) in Bremen, where he has been managing director since 2001.
He brings with him a wealth of experience gained over 20 years in the industry.
“Over the past few years we have seen increasing demand for our expertise, equipment and services,” says Stellan Bernsro, head of the group’s Dry Cargo Handling division. “This is an exciting period for TTS, as we continue to establish ourselves in new market geographies and segments, exemplified by the recent contract for delivery to eight 13,100 TEU container vessels in Korea. We look forward to welcoming Holger Elies, and to work with him as we build on these recent successes to ensure continued growth.”
Part of TTS’ Dry Cargo Handling division, TTS Ships Equipment GmbH is designated the hatch cover ‘Centre of Excellence', and has pioneered the development of access equipment for efficient loading and discharging of cargoes on merchant ships worldwide.
